The Menasha Macs swept a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League doubleheader Saturday, beating Marinette 9-1 and 5-1.

MARINETTE, WI- The Menasha Macs swept a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League doubleheader Saturday, beating Marinette 9-1 and 5-1.

Aaron Langdon pitched a one-hitter in the first game, striking out seven batters. The only hit he allowed was a double in the fourth inning.

The Macs (17-8 overall, 9-4 NWBL) broke open the game with a five-run second inning, which included a three-run home run by Mac Shumann.

Colin Englebert was 5-for-5 with four doubles in the opener.

Jason Wierschke pitched six strong innings in the second game, giving up an unearned run. Bryce Swick pitched the seventh to close out the sweep.

Adam Grambow hit a solo home run and drove in three runs for the Macs, while Griffin Jack was 2-for-4.
