MENASHA, WI – The Menasha Macs opened the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League schedule with a 2-1 victory in 10 innings over the Sheboygan A’s on Monday at Koslo Park.

The winning rally in the 10th started with one out when Colin Englebert singled and stole second base. Sam Hawley singled to send Englebert to third, and he scored when A’s pitcher Aidan Wojciehowski threw a wild pitch.

Jack Taschner pitched two innings in relief to get the win for the Macs, who are 5-1 overall. He allowed one hit and struck out three.

Eric Zuberbier was the starting pitcher for Menasha and worked eight innings. He allowed one run on five hits, with one walk and five strikeouts.

Adam Grambow, who had two of the six hits for Menasha, doubled with two outs in the first inning and scored on a single by Mac Shumann to give the Macs a 1-0 lead.
